I took massive doses for 6 months, at least a cup per day and did not
develop turn blue. I did have to remove a surgical steel piercing
because it started becoming infected, as if I had a silver piercing in
which my body does not handle well. I can't wear silver pierced ear
rings or gold yet I had no problem drinking silver until I got up to
these very large doses. I even have a problem wearing titanium jewelry
in piercings. It did drop my viral load way down but did not kill it
unfortunately and I let the doctors talk me into trying their drugs
which was a real mistake. The side effects were horrible.
Unfortunately this was a nipple piercing and I loved it very much so I
was not happy that I had to let it close up but I was fighting hepatitis
c, still am, so that was more important to me. It hurt very much when I
got the piercing done so I doubt I can get up the courage to ever have
it done again.
