I actually previously also looked into lead sheeting - very expensive! Here (Victoria Australia) the letter I received said I was breaking 'the law' by not accepting the meter and quoted the law No. blah blah .... I shall push for solar & go off grid.
Thanks PT // Jane I have been told that aluminum foil will not do the job. Aluminum actually conducts electricity quite well. Once it is in they will tell you they don't have the analogue meters any longer. It seems there is a movement to bring them back for people who are sensitive but it hasn't happened yet... at least in Florida. Good luck. Be persistent.
