I found this calculator; http://www.silvermedicine.org/faradaycalculator.html It doesn't mention voltage, but I put in the current and time for 24 hours. The ppm is 64. I just turned my EIS maker off. It is only about 7 ppm; slightly yellow with a lot of grey strings hanging off the positive electrode. There is also a brown splotch on the bottom of the jar. When I first set this up, I had the voltage at 30 on my power supply, but a voltmeter showed it was only 25 v. I measured it several times later and got readings down to 8.5 v before bed last night. I assumed that my power supply was faulty; I should have measured the voltage at the supply. Just before turning it off at 12:50 PM today, the voltage was 2.8 at the silver terminals. It was on for 20.5 hours.
What did I make? Is it useless? Should the voltage keep going down?
I know how to fix the brown spot; the electrode was too close to the jar's bottom.
I have a picture of it.
