As a charge nurse for 40 years urine pH was normal at 6.5 or under &
anything over 7.5 would indicate 'infection' & especially in elderly folk
this was very common - never took the pH of salvia but understood it was
normally alkaline .... so I thought the digestive system went from alkaline
to acid and alternated through the gut ... to optimize digestion. I have
some pH test strips somewhere - if I ever find them will check my saliva!

Since I started wearing this Zapper my saliva pH has been 6.5 or above
almost every time I've tested it, and never below 6.0. This is at least
1 point higher than "normal" for me over all the testing I've done over
the years. Urine pH is averaging higher, with more frequent readings
around 6.5-7.0, but lower when my body is clearing acid wastes as
normally happens when digesting a meal.
