I used to get those 'stones' from time to time.  I wouldn't notice them until
they got big enough that I could feel them while swallowing or that they'd rub
against and irritate the tissues that the tonsils normally touch.

I found that if I had a long enough swab I could loosen them and remove them.
White hard lumps.  If you squeezed them they would have this horrific smell
like a sewer.

Two possible things are going on.  Food particles can get caught in there and
build up.  But more likely, it is bacteria being killed off (by the tonsils?)
and accumulating due to the crater effect.

If it's from bacteria, I think that a regular hit of CS would be a good
preventative, but once you have the lump in there, I doubt that CS or any other
thing you ingest would dissolve them.

Sometimes I have sneezed them out.  I have on occasion, taken something more
sharp than a q-tip to dislodge these lumps, but I do NOT recommend that.
Perhaps a tongue depressor would work, but you really have to watch out for the
gag reflex.

I hope some of this helps.

Steve

Subject: CS>Tonsil stones

Does anyone know if silver works for tonsil stones?
Or the rife dp100 for them?
Every since we battled lyme, etc. our son has craters in his tonsils....and the
stones are showing up more frequently.
Thank you for any ideas....

Diana
