But isn't the magnesium readily absorbed since it is a liquid?

The link on the mgwater site didn't take me to a recipe either, but I 
recognized the one from the support group site. Its the Afibbers recipe for 
Wallerwater aka magnesium bicarbonate -

I took it for about a year, mainly for the bicarbonate, but the taste is pretty 
bad & you have to drink quite a bit to get enough mg.
