Hallo Evelyn, I used the electrodes of my home made CS maker (current control 1mA) to knock down herpes which had been going for years in the corner of my mouth. I switched on, held one electrode in wetted finger and appled the other to the insult for about half a minute. then swapped electrodes and did it again. Repeated daily for a few days to make sure. Relief was virtually instantaneous and healing took place over night.
It" went away but returned after about a year due to stress. I did the above and herpes has not recurred after 4 to 5 years (and lots of stress).
