I have used cs for decades... first otc and now purchasing from a member on this list. I have always used the cs 'neat'....just spray it in my eyes. Once, my boss came to work with pinkeye that she had caught from one of her kids. I sprayed everything in sight and sprayed my eyes mutliple times for a few days. I never caught pinkeye and my eyes were no worse for wear after all the cs applications. Some others on the list may have different opinions. Lola H.
