Most animals prefer CS straight up over plain water. Put out a bowl of each and see which one disappears first? Very young babies get their immune system start from momma milk in the first few days...after that...it's likely OK to give them CS. Only some of it will go into the milk anyhow as most of it exits by a different route quite quickly.
