Hi Marie, I will keep you posted on my Chlamydia pneumonia Bacteria with azithromycin for 12 weeks ...Luckly I have enough to do the 12 weeks course...myself. Doctors are sometimes hard headed...My naturopathic doctor only sugested 14 days for me... He won’t agree with the 12 either. I don’t think 14 days is enough time. Let me know what type of brand or capsule for the Olive leaf you are using...I would like to try it too.

Anyhow, we researched it and read that Azithromycin once a week for several months can kill the Chlamydia Pheumoniae bacteria which is what is really causing the asthma... We tried the Azithromycin for 3 weeks straight and it was definitely working, but we've also used Colloidal Silver Nebulized for our dogs' bronchitis episodes as well as our own so decided to switch to Nebulized Colloidal Silver along with a high dose of Olive Leaf Extract which our Osteopath recommended. So far, the combination Silver and Olive Leaf Extract Capsules is working to keep his Asthma hardly noticiceable. Will keep you posted. He nebulized Colloidal Silver at least twice a day for 10-15 minutes, and takes 500mg Olive Leaf Extract 3 times a day... Also we make our own Liposomal Vitamin C and he takes it 1gm 4 times per day. His doctor also prescribed a Paleo Diet, no grains no legumes, obviously no sugar.
