Jerry:
May be you should put the still by the duck-pond, throw the cooling coils into
the pond and let the pond water do the cooling:-)

I just realized I hadn't given a report on the stainless steel still I ordered.
First, to make a gallon of water on our propane stove uses a pound of propane,
so it's more expensive than the local Water Store...only their still is
currently broken so they only have reverse osmosis water (10ppm).

Second, it needs quite a bit of cooling water, I had to change out the bucket
several times. It wasn't wasted, went into the duck pond.

Third is the good news, while it started off producing around 50ppm water, by
the end of the first gallon it was down to around 1.

Hi,

My niece said yesterday:

I went to 2 of the Walgreens in Abilene, TX and both were completely out of the
distilled water and then asked the lady to call the 2 other stores on the north
side of town and they were also out. She said they might have a problem at the
warehouse on getting them.

Just a heads up.
