Hi Ode, My beloved SilverPuppy has served me long and well, but now its rotating magnetic bottom began growling and then I noticed the inside stirrer in the CS was turning fitfully, or not at all. Bruce unscrewed the mirror top of the base to investigate, hoping it might be a matter of lubrication, but the motor shaft seems not to even be reliably attached the magnet-bearing washer and he can't figure out how it was put together. Can you advise, or let me know what a new base would cost? I have a lot of people depending on my CS and know it won't be as good quality without the stirring.
