Now that's a solution I could go for in a big way!!!! I think it's just the
thought and pictures of the soldering iron that give one the heebie
peepies!!! Wonder if anyone has tried any of the old granny's remedies for
warts - such as rubbing with a cut potato and then planting it?

Subject: CS>Re: Warts

I had a plantar wart on the bottom of one of my feet.
I had a doctor cut it off. It came back.
He burned it off. It came back.
He froze it off with liquid nitrogen. It came back.
I tried various wart removing products (like Compound W).
It always came back.

For ten years that wart resisted every attempt to remove it.

Then I took a vacation at the beach. After walking around the beach
barefoot for a week I noticed the bottoms of my feet were as smooth as a
baby's bottom. No wart. No calluses.

I understood the sandpaper effect could remove the external portion of
the wart but never have understood how it could remove the root of the
wart that was in, and below, the surface of the skin. Something in the
salt water?

It's been thirty years now and that wart has never come back.
Sometimes I wish it would reappear. I could use a "medical excuse" for
another week on the beach...
