** The probability of simplistic scenarios and transmission links.***
Everyone needs food -both healthy and the sick (infected).
""- IT IS THE COMMON DENOMINATOR ACROSS ALL DEMOGRAPHICS ""
Most restaurants are closed or have limited carryout's.
You turn to the neighborhood grocery store.
The mechanics / scenario involved with a "cough plume".
Most grocery store aisles are narrow forcing single file passage,
generally in both directions.
The scenario is simple
2 people keeping the social distance of 6 ft. walking behind one another
in a grocery stores narrow aisle.
The 1st person coughs, creating a "cough plume", seconds later
the second person walks through it.
Person #2 now breaths it in, along with the droplets getting
in his hair, on his face and on his clothes.....
You now have a viable overlooked transmission link of the virus...
Most Sick people will cough, creating a "cough plume" around themselves.
This bubble of "cough plume" will be entered by successive shoppers.
The 2 most likely entrance points of the virus are the nose and mouth,
as both create a vacuum immediately in front of themselves on a "inhale"
cycle of breathing.
"" WEAR A MASK ""
THE FIRST PERSONS "COUGH PLUME" EXIT VELOCITY, VAPOR / DROPPLETTS AND
PLUME CIRCUMFERENCE WOULD BE GREATLY REDUCED.
THE SECOND PERSON'S NOSE AND MOUTH WOULD BE SHIELDED BY THE MASK.
'While not absolute, It should reduce the odds of probability of being
infected"...
