Hello List,
Sorry, my low tech ways caused me to send a personal letter to the list.

Yes, I found it and have it by the door to bring on Sat., when I have to go
pick up the BBQ.
I called the man, Larry last night while it was snowing and he said he had the
brisket and rub down on it, getting close to smoking it. I asked if Sat would
be better for the both of us, since it was snowing right down. He said that
would be perfect.
It looks like we got 3 to 4 inches, which is not bad, considering we usually
don't get any snow in the winter. It will be all gone by tomorrow, except in
bar ditches and blown high areas. That wind was vicious last night.
Sure hate that you saw the worst of our weather. You did close the door to
Minnesota when you left there, didn't you? :)
What time do you have to leave Marg tomorrow?
I sent Lisa a picture of the Sire of her does and she said, he looks just like
Big Boy! I told her that the same exact thing I said when I first saw him.
That is genetics working for Dandy-Lion is in his pedigree also.
I rec'd. the first of a magazine I ordered and while going through it last
night, I made comments. It quite literally covers most medical problems, feet
trimming, feeding, mineral deficiencies, parasites, birthing problems and much
more. I told Lisa I'd give it to her to keep for any future problems. It is
99% good but I gave some pointers that I know of too.
For instance, copper is greatly needed by goats and one of the most visible
symptoms is faded hair color. I had an old doe walk slowly by me (years ago),
and I noted this and thought about it. Bought some calf size boluses and gave
her twice the amount of copper by her weight. Weeks later a prancing, red doe
went by me, head up and I wondered who she was. It was the old doe.
