silver ions are toxic to microbes and animal cells and immune cells. If
you are trying to kill microbes, the trick is to reduce silver toxicity
to animal cells while maintaining or increasing the toxicity to
microbial cells.
Once silver gets through the gut epithelium, likely broken down as ions
because even something as small as nanoparticles do not easily get
through the gut, the silver will undergo changes in the blood and lymph
system. Sometimes re forming into nanoparticles, silver also becomes
covered in proteins. The lymphocytes try to gobble up the toxic silver
and appear to be reduced in number, destroyed in the process of
phagocytosis. The immune system is altered with silver (n increase in
CD4+/CD8+ T cell distribution, a decrease in NK and NKT cell
distribution and an increased CD4+:CD8+ ratio ).
Silver depresses the proliferation of lymphocytes while stimulating
phagocytosis as well as the "respiratory burst" of granulocytes and
monocytes. The respiratory burst is a rapid increase in the production
of reactive oxygen species. Those reactive oxygen species are
destructive to all kinds of cells. Microbial as well as human cells are
destroyed
The situation is so complex that it is outside any simple summary or
conclusion. The silver is already undergoing major changes in the
digestive system, ionized, complexed with bacteria polysacharides,
rolled up in bile. More changes occur inside the blood and lymph,
exposure to sun, the pH of the fluids, and influences beyond easy grasp.

I'm saying IONS are what kill the pathogens and they are easy to make.
"Particles" are not easy to make and have to release ions in order to work
...skip that step...ya think?

Hi,
So you are saying CS is good but you think nanoparticles are better?
Is it much more difficult to make CS NP?
Thank you,
Jean

CS NPs are far superior at killing pathogens than ionic silver.
And gaslighters flogging EIS on this Forum should take their
