I found the book. The Green Pharmacy, by James A. Duke, Ph.D. It's a little paperback, cheap enough to get and also a current edition so at the stores.

Tinnitus: gingko biloba is highly suggested sesame seeds in the diet any which way you can black cohosh goldenseal lesser periwinkle spinach NOTE: herbs to avoid for tinnitus are: aspirin or aspirin-like herbs. willowbark, meadowsweet and wintergreen, cinchona, blackhaw and uva ursi. The aspirin can cause tinnitus symptoms. Hope that helps. This book is really great, btw. Diane.....oh....I just noticed the section on Lyme disease, too. This writer says they used the doxy w/herbs. Echinacea, LOTS of garlic, (5 - 15 cloves a day). Mountain mint: crush the leaves and rub it on your legs...(etc)...it is tick/bug repelling.
