It is extremely unlikely that you have consumed enough of anything to cause you harm, or to change your complexion from making Low voltage DC silver. At least no record of that occurring exists in many searches of medical databases. There is always a first time, but the chances are greatly in favor of your skin condition being caused by something else. I did not intend to tell you that you would likley turn grey or black, but that the usual color if it were caused by the silver would be blue.
The grey skin has been caused most often by ionic silver salts, those which dissolve in water. Silver Chloride does not dissolve, but precipitates out. Can you list 1. How you are making the silver, most particularly what water are you using. 2. How much have you consumed on a daily basis. One thing that might help would be to see a dermatologist, and get a professional opinion of your skin condition. I hope you can resolve this soon, and I know it must be worrisome. I drank grey LV silver for years. Relax. The cosmetic effect is usually blue, turning to black with exposure to sunlight, with similar chemistry as a photo negative. There could be other crap in the water though. If it is tap water it has a high possibility of being toxic in itself, or could react with the silver. James Osbourne Holmes [email protected] >> James, Relax you say, that is a good one. So now it is a chance of getting even darker, that is what you are telling me. In some lights it looks silver and at night it looks dark gray. I am at the point where I would try to bleach my face if I knew that it helped. Any suggestions?
