Dear Sir.
                    I believe you will find, if you perform controlled
repetitions,  that honey does not prevent sludge formation......it merely acts
as an accelerant----albeit, a non-toxic one.  We have used it for generating our
"general purpose" CS for several years.....without any untoward occurrences
whatsoever.  In unregulated (for current) systems, due to the exponential-type
rises in current.....the accumulation of deposits on the electrodes occurs with
increasing speed  as the solution conductivity increases.  However, there are
very simple ways to mitigate against this....most easily through employing
continual solution agitation, current monitoring, and frequent (10 sec....1
min), periodic polarity switching (in DC systems).  Most of the older list
members are familiar with all of these.
