We have posted repeatedly (you missed) that decent Cs will last over 
a year in plastic water jugs in room lighting. We have had less then 2%
loss in strength storing in a kitchen cubboard. There may be a slight
 "plastic" tatse after extended storage but not a problem. We ran tests
with strong UV light 1/2" from a plastic bottle for 3 weeks and the bottle
suffered more (dark brown spot) then the Cs, which still measered
5 PPM by the TDS method.

If they are flying home, we get real leakage problems with a gallon
size but never with the smaller plastic bottles. You might find it 
amusing, but our local US Postoffice said we could ship a gallon
without packaging - "if a label and stamps will stick it is OK" and
sure enough it went over 1,000 miles w/o harm. They showed me 
a chair and some coconuts without wrappers, just labels stuck on!
