"Ideally you should start at least 12 hours BEFORE the Nuclear Fallout hits. In any case you should begin taking it either before actual exposure or within ½ hour after exposure in order to be effective."
It takes only a few minutes for a missile to reach USA. In case of a terrorist act, you get no warning at all. I guess, the only way to be able to start taking the drug soon enough is by carrying it with you all the time. "Keep the bottle sealed, dry, and out of sunlight." instruction is kind of hard to implement if you carry it with you. Relying on being able to make a solution yourself doesn't seem the most wise idea, to say it gently. Perhaps, taking lots antioxidants should be mandatory, to counteract the effect of free radicals created in the body by radiation.
