Alvin, Now I am getting confused, did you misquote the voltages? (Not being critical, just trying to figure what is working and not!)
Is the Croft 12.5 P-P a 40% duty cycle pulsed DC wave and thus 5Volts average DC? His 'new' unit says it is 5 VDC, is he talking about the same thing you are, 12.5 V P-P? Did you mean the Beck is 27 volts peak AC (not DC)? Also your switch converts from 3.97 Hz to 4 Hz and 100Hz, do you mean you added the 100 Hz circuitry? Is there a crystal and divider for the 3.97Hz or is that just what your unit happens to output? The "triangle wave works best" would essentially remove the harmonics of a square wave, my understanding of the main "non-frequency critical" feature of the zappers! Have you tried a sine wave? It should effect you the same as a triangle, albiet a little harder to generate at 4 Hz. Can you explain what you are treating that seems to be better for you? I am looking for a simple repeatable experiment to do some testing with but I am not sick! With silver I can burn myself and in seconds verify the silver prevented pain or damage. Actually, I do it a lot because the soldering iron is always in the way of a finger and if I soak the spot within a few seconds there is absolutely no pain or blister, even though there is a burning flesh smell and some of the fingerprints are removed.
