I had muscle spasms in my right shoulder and arm starting November 22,1999 and they continued day and night for weeks without letup. I ended up with numbness in my right hand; the thumb and forefinger and it ran in a line up to my shoulder. I was afraid I'd never get rid of the numbness. I'd heard of MSM on this list for months and a friend got some for me. In less than a week of taking two pills a day (2,000mg), I had feeling back in my hand and arm again. This was about the middle of January. I'm still working on regaining the strength in my arm. It's hard to believe how debilitating something like that can be.
