Heather and Jenny, I have waited to see if any one was going to answer this because there seems to be a question of right and wrong with a mother taking cs if she is pregnant. No one seems to know if it would hurt the baby and most feel that it would not but since they do not know for sure, all bottles of cs that I have seen say do not take if you are pregnant or nursing. I have a book by an English author, 'Candida Albicans could yeast be your problem?' Dr. Chaitow put one pregnant patient on garlic and probiotics until her child was born. That apparently kept the candida from getting worse until more forceful treatment could be done. He does not treat with cs if he even knows about it. I am sorry that I cannot help any more than this. --Betty ----- Original Message ----- From: Heather King (TILLY)(LCA) To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, April 11, 2000 8:35 AM Subject: RE: CS>re; CANDIDA ALBICANS
Those who know: please reply to this on the list. I have a pregnant friend who is also suffering from a raging candida infection & who cannot be treated with typical methods. She'd very much like to know if CS is safely consumed during pregnancy. Thanks! -----Original Message----- From: J WILLIAMS [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, April 11, 2000 5:55 AM To: [email protected] Subject: CS>re; CANDIDA ALBICANS i've just started taking colloidal silver in the hope it will clear Candida albicans, which I have been battling with for some time now. I have tried all the other health alternatives ; caprilic acid, garlic, ect; and tried cutting out sugar, yeast, and dairy products, but I'm afraid I like food too much and have found this very difficult. So, has anyone had some success with the same problem? How much do I need to take? and how quickly will I see results? also is colloidal silver safe for pregnant women? Please help I'm desperate !!!!! Jenny (England)
