Tami, I have purchased a steam water distiller for three of my family. One has been in use, a gallon a day for over three years. The others are still working but not used as much Stainless steel inner container. Bought at Sears for $1o9.00 don't know what they are now. I am very pleased with it and its lasting qualities. and on clean up problem. our water is very hard and sometimes the residue is even oily. I give it a good rinse and then a quick plastic scrubber, then I white vinegar overnight it about once every two months the water produces good cs. Now question. I store my cs in blue Arizona tea bottles, I don't drink it, I have a friend who is addicted to it. The question is is all right to cover the metal cap with plastic wrap. I understand that the metal cap might not be good for the cs. I'm just a beginner and use a Beck machine. Thanks everyone for all the teaching. Betty
