You have introduced another factor into the
discussion: The interaction which silver may have with
other substances. If I pour CS into chlorinated water,
I will not create a silver-chloride salt, I will
merely have water with both silver and chloride in it.
But I once put some CS into a white bucket (like a mop
bucket, or one from a restaurant), and the CS turned a
milky white. I assumed this meant that the plastic had
"bled", or dissolved into the CS. Though this is not a
"salt", it would not be, I suppose, safe to drink. Yet
after awhile, the CS turned clear again. Still not
gonna drink it, though.
