Christy, Although Lyme has been known to cause fevers, chills, and night sweats this is a very common symptom of the co-infection Babesiosis. Anyone with suspected Lyme that is experiencing night sweats, I would advice that they find a doctor that is willing to test them for the tick borne co-infections. Babesiosis, Babesia Microti, is a blood parasite similar to Malaria transmitted by the same tick that carries Lyme Disease.
