Hi there, I am new to this board and new to taking colloidal silver. I have ordered some and expect to start it next week. Before I start taking this stuff I was wondering if anyone could give me feedback on whether or not it will have an effect on bacterial problems in the gut? I have 'severe bacterial dysbiosis' that has been caused by yeast overgrowth and a pathogen- 'citrobacter freundii' that has made a happy home in my colon. Has anyone had any success with CS for this kind of thing? If so, then how much did you take daily and in what form (ie. pill/liquid/enema?) for it to be effective and reach the intestinal tract? Should I bump up my acidophilus/probiotics while on this stuff? Are there any side effects that I should be aware of? Does CS have any known interactions with other herbs/vitamins? (I am taking probiotics, Cal/Mag, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, a Multi-Vitamin and Betaine-HCL at the moment). Do I have to worry about long-term use of CS should my bacterial problem take several months to get rid of? Lastly, what makes good colloidal silver?(I have bought from "CSprosystems" as I have heard they are reputable).
Many thanks for any help/assistance here! Jane -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
