Hi Ya'all, This matter of color in CS is no as simple as one might be lead to believe.
In my inventory of developmental samples I have CS the is crystal clear with ppm's ranging all the way from about 5 to 43. The thing that is different about them is the strength of the T.E. The group from 5 to about 20 will have a T.E. that is very weak and can only be seen in a reduced light ambient, while the larger values of PPM have strong T.E. So if the statement made previously on the list that T.E. varies as the third power of particle size , and I have no color in these high value ppm's what then is producing color in some of my samples that have almost no T.E.?
