I got my stirring device set up. I am having a problem getting more than a
14 ppm solution. I ran the last batch for 20 hrs. and 14 ppm is all I got. I
have tried several speeds of stirring and spacing from 1 to 2 inches of the
electrodes and it doesn't seem to make much difference. I have tried increasing
the surface area of the electrodes by using 1,2 and 3 electrodes at a time on
the pos. and neg. terminals. I use 2 ppm dw in a quart jar and after 14 hours
I dont get much of an increase in the ppm. It seems that the solution does not
want to increase in ppm much in the next 6 hrs. Your unit is capable of making
up to a 50 ppm solution so what do you think the problem is ?
I have noticed that stirring the solution at a slow speed allows heavy
buildup of light grey fuzz on the neg electrode. Increasing the stir speed
minimumizes the buildup of the fuzz. Any ideas ?
