Although our first interest in Alpha Lipoic Acid
occurred because of Dr. Russell Blaylock's work relating to excitotoxin
(MSG, Aspartame, etc.) damage to the brain; we, later, became aware of
Dr. Burton Berkson's work involving "liver-based" afflictions.
Although we did not conduct any organized studies ourselves, a group
with whom we exchange data/results frequently..........has.
Their results tend to STRONGLY confirm Dr. Berkson's
effectiveness through using alpha lipoic acid as a primary agent for
addressing mushroom poisoning (amanita), cataract prevention, primary
biliary cirrhosis-----and Hep C.
I believe that researchers experimenting for effective
protocols addressing these disorders would be well-served to investigate
lipoic acid as a candidate.
We have become very favorably impressed by the evident
power of this substance to support the liver and to assist in its
recovery from a variety of dangerous insults.
