This is a question for Marshall, Ivan, James, TaiPan, and other brilliant specialists in the Silver Art. I have been making and using CS for about 9 months. I produce it with a SOTA silver maker hooked to a quart jar with 2 electrodes 2.5 inches apart about 3.5 inches submerged. I make about 16 ounces at a time. I generally produce clear CS with a mild tyndale in 2.5 to 3 hours. I purchased the silver from Hauser & Miller (800-462-7447) fine silver 12 gauge .999 pure. Here's the problem: I just had a urinalysis done for metals and I showed up with an unusually high level of nickel. I have examined all of my inputs and come down to two that MAY be suspicious. The bottled water at work, which I drink in copious amounts. The use of CS using .999 Silver wire for production. Could the .999 silver not be pure enough for these purposes?? Has anyone else on the list had any urinalysis done to check for nickel?? I spoke to Hauser and Miller this AM and they assured me that all of their fine silver is .999. Boy am I confused, but I'm not going to stop using CS, I may switch to .9999 silver wire, if I can find it. Any comments. Al
