Some of the MSM out there may have sulfas, sulfites and or sulfates. You must
be very careful with the quality or you start running into problems (IMHO).
What ever brand you look at, be sure that they are 100% pure MSM and use no
fillers, binders or additives. If you desire, I would be more than happy to
send you a small sample of 100% pure MSM to test for a reaction. Just private
email me at [email protected] with your address and I'll get some out to you
later today.

James Allison

  Hello James,
Thanks for your quick answer. The brand is TriMedica which I purchased on
the web through "HomeCure." The address is www.homecure.com
So let me get this straight...the product may contain sulfate? The label
doesn't list it. What it does say is: Other ingredients: Hypo-allergenic rice.
I am going to throw these 500 capsules out, because YES...I felt nearly
sick enough to be in the hospital and my skin color was bright red. I would
though REALLY like to take another brand. What brand would you, or others
  recommend?
And how does this all speak to the fact that years ago I had a reaction
to a perscription which I thought was "sulfur" ...do you think that too also
  have sulfate in it?

The MSM you tried may have been cut with something, what brand is it =
