Cortisone is in my opinion, a desperate last-choice. It really screws with the entire metabolism, and often has caused more suffering in the long run than it has relieved.
Remember: properly prescribed FDA approved drugs are the fourth largest killer. Add improperly used prescription drugs, and the total becomes the third largest killer; second only to CA and heart disease.
