Dear Marsha,

Well, you've really been through the wringer. And luckily made it out the other side relatively intact.

I give you a 9+ for perseverance and attitude. So glad the CS was your turning point. Always knew it was great stuff but this is really a good anecdotal story.

The doctors should be viewed as one would any other person. They and we all have our abilities to do something. Theirs happens to be helping nature heal. Some of them are good and some are bad: just like the rest of the worlds population. I'm reminded of the story about taking all the carpenters and putting them in a locked room with a few tools and some wood to work on. It wouldn't take long to sort out who's the best wood butcher and who's second best and so on until they're all sorted out. Some are better at doing what it is they do than others and not as good as some others. Docs and the rest of are about the same except they won't tell you how the sorting out amongst them is. The main problem I see with doctors is they are so secretive about their abilities because they don't want us to know if they are a little (or a lot) incompetent. Most of them want us to think they're next to God in ability. They even write (prescriptions) in a language most of us can't decipher (Latin) to help keep their society secret from us. How insecure.

And I'm very interested in your bird story. I have a double yellow head amazon that is extremely healthy but who knows what will happen to its health one of these days. They're so fragile. It's great to know someone has tried CS out on a bird and it didn't give up the ghost. I've been apprehensive about using it on him because I didn't want to upset his flora. Mine is probably going to outlive me by a long time because he's so healthy unless he gets a drastic disease.

Thanks for telling us your tale friend. Good luck. And keep the batteries charged!

Dear Katie, Frances, and Dave, and anyone else who may be interested,
here`s my Lyme and CS story:
I was living in rural Arkansas in 1990; we had deer on our property. I had
gotten several ticks, but they were big. About two weeks after reading an
article in a magazine about Lyme disease, I pulled a really tiny one off the
front of my leg.
Guess what??!!
Bullseye rash, flu, sore joints. I knew what it was, thanks to the article.
Went to a doctor who was the Dumbdoc of the World. He didn`t run a test,
just put me on doxy, 60 mg. for 10 days. Shoulda been 600 mg. for 3 months!
Next January I was having my gallbladder removed. Dumbdoc had said it was an
ulcer. (Same guy didn`t bother to xray my daughter`s hurt foot; she walked
for 2 years on a broken footbone. Grrr...)
Now I know that Lyme can destroy the GB.
Well, I moved to Utah, then to Arizona in 1991. In 1992 I finally was
wondering if all these symptoms could still be Lyme Disease. Went to the
Phoenix Library, where I found 2 books on Lyme. Yes, Lyme can recur if
undertreated initially. I had 55 of the 60 symptoms listed!!
I found a doctor who did a blood test. Negative. She gave me some Zithromax,
I herxed. She didn`t even know what that was, or what it indicated. I had no
insurance, so no IV therapy, she put me back on doxy, as I could afford it.
We moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1995. Still taking doxy to keep alive,
miserable as heck.
In Kenosha, I couldn`t find any LLDs, the docs refused to believe that LD
can recur. They refused to give me any more doxy. Now I really began to get
sick.
I spent the days in my chair, the nights in bed, doing little.
Finally, I did what I now realize I should`ve done first, I prayed for help!
In a week, an old buddy from high school sent me some info. she`d found on
papers used as packing in a box she`d gotten in the mail. It was the CS
info!
I read it, but was skeptical, I`d never heard of CS. With nothing else left
to try, my son helped me put together the generator, and look all over
Kenosha and Racine to find silver wire. I began taking CS in May of 1997. In
3 days my joints stopped hurting and I could close my jaw shut. In a week my
mind was clear. Ladies at church noticed the difference, as they had never
seen me Lyme-free.
It took 7 months or so for the damage to heal, in joints, and heart mainly.
It is now 4 years and change later, I still use CS as a preventive. No colds
or flu for the last 2 years, except for one last October, when my batteries
were dead! (Duh!)
CS has stopped two spider bites, possibly Brown Recluses, no skin grafts,
just two tiny pits which I can live with, and numerous UTIs which I get
easily, as a result of the GB loss. Also my asthma is gone. I`ll still get a
few sneezes and itchy eyes from allergens, so I swallow some more CS, and
put it in my eyes as well.
I have cured Giardia in my baby cockatiel, and my two Pug dogs look great
now, no more goopy eyes, or face wrinkle infections.
I hope this proves helpful!
Marsha
