I have recently been learning about essential oils and subscribe to a message
board on this topic. Some have written that several different oils can cure
allergy problems just by smelling them as often as possible for a few days.
One said, "After inhaling Eucalyptus for a few days my allergies were gone."
Shortly after I got my first oils, my eyes were itching, nose running like a
faucet, and I was sneezing constantly. I smelled the Eucalyptus a number of
times, then went shopping. The symptoms would normally leave when I went to
town. But when I returned, I didn't have any problem. I haven't smelled
them much since. My nose runs a little at times. My husband who is not at
all into alternative healing was impressed enough by my improvement that he
smells them when he is bothered by his allergies. We should do it more
constantly for several days in a row to really see if it works. I will
include another post from the list below fro a person who had success with
peppermint. If anyone wants information on essential oils helping many other
health problems, I have lots on file that I can email you privately. Also
feel free to contact me about sources of essential oils.
" Karen, my 35 year old son has had hayfever for years and a few
years ago I gave him peppermint, he breathed it in as many times as he could
think of it. Three or four days later, no more hayfever and trust me he gets
it bad. That was three years ago. This year he had to work at it a little
more but it stopped. So I gave some to my brother in law...it is working
and he hardly breathes it in. He even stopped taking some pills he had to
use. Let me know if eucalyptus works, I heard it did."
