He is saying he is not sure HIV causes AIDS and also that all the illness he sees in his country cannot be due to just one virus. Well, I guess one of the organisms causing so much illness is the malaria organism. I wonder what else besides or in addition to HIV he thinks may be contributing to AIDS. Good luck with your work.
