List:

I thought I'd ask the "fraud lords" over at QuackWatch just how many
incidents of Argyria they have come across personally/professionally. After
hearing about Ol' Rosemarie for the zillionth time, this is the only
significant response I've received so far:

"I've seen two patients with argyria in my career. Both were quite old and
received "legitimate" silver treatment for disease in the pre-antibiotic era
when it was believed this treatment was effective for certain infections."

So the really ironic part is that the only two patients he's ever seen were
victims of the allopathic medical profession which is supposed to protect us
from quackery by using all the skills and knowledge that only mainstream
medical science can provide.

It's certainly not a lot of information, but in many ways it say EVERYTHING
we know about what causes Argyria, and just how rare (even when exposed to
silver salts) it is.
