Chuck - I got the folic acid from where you said. Took 1/8 t per day (35 mg). I lost 11 pounds in 4 days, so something was working. I have a Uric acid level typically about 9, which is over the limit.
I bought a new multi-meter from Radio Shack and as I thought, my old unit was not working. I checked some old Cs and got like 3 ma readings. In order to reach 8 ma with the 13.5/30 VDC unit with 3.3 K resistor added it now takes like 2 hours run time. Starting current is around 4 ma. 5 inch leads of 12 AWG spaced 1 1/2 inches, DW. I also have Barretts esophagus, where it is pink and ulcerated. I take Aciphex to stop acid all day and night to try to get it to heal. I have been using Aciphex going on 4 months. Aciphex is the new drug we got form Japan, that competes with the older drug Prilosec. I am taking 3 oz. Cs per day, doing Ph balancing to stay alkaline, stomach exercises, Zapping daily with a Clark zapper, parasite cleanses weekly, and 8 glasses water. This condition can lead into Cancer.
