I don't think it would be West Nile, that should appear more systematically. I can think of two possibilities, infection or allergy. Since the lack of response with CS, I suspect allergy, but would stay on the CS anyway if for no other reason than to prevent infection or my suspicions are wrong. I would take some antihistamines, if it is allergic reaction to the mosquito salava which they use to thin your blood and prevent clotting, the action should be fairly rapid. You may try calamine lotion, or meat tenderizer that contain papayan on the bite, but it is probably too late for that to do much good. If you are really concerned with West Nile or another virus, I would continue with the CS and olive leaf extract which both kill viruses and eldeberry extract which prevents viruses from replicating.
