Good question Mike, Sub-lingual absorption...hard to find applicable information. Molecules that can pass through a membrane can pass directly into the capillaries lying close to the surface under the tongue and lining the cheeks. These molecules are generally organic, small, lipid (fat) soluble and non-polar. I think the same requirements for absorption in the alimentary tract apply here also. There is a mildly acid environment in the mouth, enzyme production, protein production and so on, perhaps silver bonds with some of these compounds to facilitate absorption.
It would certainly be interesting to know. There is not much information around detailing the mechanism of mineral absorption, one Internet link seems reasonably well researched: http://www.chiro.org/places/minerals.shtml Good health Ivan. ----- Original Message ----- From: "M.
