Dear John, VEry poignant the Columbine speeches. But, prayer in school is not the answer one bit more than outlawing guns is the answer. No law is yet stopping the teaching of prayer in the homes. Churches can be found every 2 blocks in most cities. Sprittual awakening is a good thing, but not in public schools Frankly, I think it is time public shcools were shut down. Period. no more public schools. They do not even do what they are basically supposed to do anymore...which is educate. They are nothing but pathetic indoctrination centers and political leveraged tools to whipsaw and hold hostage the parents of a nation.
For uncaring and irresponsible parents they are place to dump off their kids for a few hours respite. WHat everyone is ignoring, more importent than guns, more importent than prayer is the blatent signs of indirect or even indirect mind-control in all those high-profile school shootings. In just about every case we find kids that had been drugged out of their mind on legal drugs for years, drugs such as ritalin. The PDR states that Ritalin's safety can't be projected beyond 3 months, yet we have kids on this stuff for years. Other drugs as well. IN fact we have the scary scenariou now of the school and legal system starting up cases to give the state the right to force parents to put their kids on RItalin or any other drug they deem to be useful. This is the real danger in all this. This push to sneak through legislationt so that any and all of us can be forced to take dangerous vaccines on a whim, take drugs to alter our behavior to suit the state. What need to be done is that individuals. You, me and all whose brains are not already fried on Zoloft, Paxil, Halcyon, Prozac, RItalin and all the other crap. Need to stand up and start taking individual responsibility for our own health. This list is a good start. We need to take responsibility for our actions. If you have sex and make babies, you put aside your personal concerns and make that child your first priority till it is grown. You put personal conflicts aside to raise the new life you and another have made. If men can take out their little baby basters, and women can open their little pleasure portals for men. ANd they did not have the good sense to take preventive measures for this encounter, then they can damn well, put their own selfish lives on hold and do wht it takes to raise happy health kids. We need tto stop giving up our freedoms to big brother. Expecting them to pay for our medicial care, pay for out kids education. We have become a nation of dependent losers. Sheep who no longer have the will to run from the wolf, trusting that the sheperd will shoot it in time.... Well fellow sheeple, it seems the sheperd has sold hunting rights to the wolves. There was not much spirituality in school when prayer was in the schools. I remember those days...being forced to say the Lord's Prayer every day right along with the pledge of allegiance. That kind of forced spirituality and patritism renders it impotent and meaningless. Never saw it reduce violence in the schools where I wend to school one whit. And violence there was let me assure you. Knife fights, fist fights, girls who would strip each other naked fighting over a boyfriend. And the most violence inciting activity of all...? Our wonderful national obsession FOOTBALL. Week after week each fall, the paper banners would plaster the walls of the halls....KILL the EAGLES....Stomp the RAMS.....CRUSH the DEVILS....DESTROY the WOLVES! ....KILL KILL KIll. The first year I entered high school that long ago fall of 1967 we leaned some guys from our closest rival football school had kidnapped our schools quaterback. Thinking to just disable him temporarily for the season the took him and fired a shotgun full of rocksalt at close range into his legs. Well their miscalculation cost this young man his legs for life, not just for the football season. Now we have moms of rival cheerleaders down there plotting one anothers murder. I was just a band member and the PARENTs mind you, the PARENTS of one team we played attacked the band after the game, and they had even WON. I wad people clawing at my band uniform snagging it ruining its newness that I had sole band candy for years to pay for. They threw beer and coke bottles at us. But it was okay, it was football. ANd we always PRAYED before every football game. That sure brought the holy spirit into the hearts of the people did it not. Oh yes pray and then KILL the other team. And we carred all these KILL the other team banners and marched around the school at morning "pep" ralies to the beat of loud drums. to the shouting of the pep squad. It was just like teaching us to prepare for and accept the pageantry and rituals of war. But I don't here word one against the violent football culture that has evolved into such a cult in this country that we call wife-beating murderers, HEROEs if they can throw and bounce a stupid ball around real good. WHere is God in a value system like that? You even have teams praying for God to aid them in victory. Well which teams will God favor? I don't want to hear the lack of prayer in schools as the problem. As an investigative journalist I got a lot of inside information regarding Columbine. Most of it is kept out of the regular news due mostly to lack of space, stories get edited down. But the disturbing truth is that mind-control, likely military backed was implicated in Columbine. Ask yourselves why the parents of one of the shooters, the carreer military man who had been stationed for a time at a base known for mind-control experimentation, ask why these parents, instead of weeping over their dead son, and apoplogizing to the parents of the other dead kids. Ask yourselves why this set of parents asked for "POLITICAL ASYLUM." Does noone but I and a few other journelists find this just a wee bit ODD!!!! People need to start using their heads and not letting well-placed but meaningless emotional rhetoric sway our hearts so that our brains shut down. Freedom is under assult at every turn in this country and in the world. People need to wak up and demand that these and many other incidents where drugs like Ritalin and other evidene of mind-control come into play get looked in to whatever it takes. For we are falling apart as a civilized nation and it is not due to lack of prayer of lack of gun control. YOu on this list have made a good start. Taking your health into your own hands is very wise, as the medical profession is so full of nefarious and despicable things I don't even want to go there. You must arrange your lives so that you can home school your kids. Period. The public schools suck. They are dangerous. They do not educate, the merely indoctrinate. Our government has reached the point where we can no longer fix it with bandaids. we need major surgery. BUt we need a nation of strong healthy people who stick together. Who do not zone out on prozac for the least little things. A nation sharp enough to stop buying into the political lies of both the left and the right. And the lies of religious leaders who only want more power as well. Prayer is something anyone can do anywhere, anytime and no one can stop you. No one knows what is going on in your head when your eyes are closed and lost in thought or prayer or you can even pray with your eyes open. But remember, I saw prayers before every football game in my youth. It changed nothing.....
