Sheets cut into strips or bars are fine -- better, IMO, than wire.
Just make sure they're .999 fine silver.

Big thanks for the info guys, gonna have a go at my first CS batch this
weekend will let you all know how it goes, if you dont hear from me you will
know something has gone horribly wrong and through a strange alchemical
reaction I have been incased in silver.... :-D
