My question is how much cs would I have to add to my cistern water to purify it for drinking? I tried an experiment with one quart of outside water with about a hundred mosquito larva in it. The electrodes killed any larva that touched the electrode but the rest were fine during the process of making the CS. After an hour or so of just sitting around after the CS was made, all the larva had died. I then dumped the quart of CS into a 40 gallon tank of water full of larva but the quart of CS was not enough to effect the larva in 40 gallons of water. Anyone have any information on water purification on a large scale such as for cisterns?
