Hi Can you tell me please if it is wet excema (weepy) of dry excema, as the way you treat them is slightly different.
My daughter has dry excema, and I have found what works is putting oil in the bath (I use a good oil like almond or apricot) with Essential oil of Rose, then pat dry and use EMULSIFYING OINTMENT. The person who said not CREAM, is correct, as cream is water soluble, and does not work. The emulsifying ointment locks the moisture in. It's really thick waxy stuff, so plaster it on, and believe me, within days you will notice a huge difference. Try not to use hyd. cortisone as it thins the skin after awhile. If it is weepy excema, it's a different scenario. One has to do with the liver, the other the kidneys. Hope this helps.
