Dear Nancy, No, I haven`t known anyone personally, it was discussed on this list. I`ll bet those chemicals did do something... I never colored my hair, or straightened it, in spite of hating all the stupid natural curls. (I did high school back when every girl had long, board straight hair. My curls were so "out of it"!!! sigh... I never could believe people would pay a LOT of money to get curls put into their hair!) Well, good luck...Keep us posted.
