* Irish doctors regret going into medicine Almost a third of all doctors in Ireland said they would reject medicine as a career if they were back at school, according to a survey by the Irish Medical Organisation.Among femal doctors the numbers were as high as 36%, compared to 29% among male respondents. Some 42% of the country's junior doctors said they regreted going into medicine, compared to a quarter of GPs and consultants.
