Joy- I used 1 ounce of my Cs which is about 10 PPM in 1 gallon of water. I didn't use a detergent but that sounds like a great idea to spread the spray. I sprayed the tree 3 times this summer. My instructions for pruning say to get rid of dead limbs. My first spray was using an old 409 bottle as a sprayer. After seeing the results I sprayed all 9 of my cherry trees. Three of the 9 trees showed an improvement, but not as dramatic as the first tree sprayed.
The spray also worked great on my Italian prune tree. Very little brown rot on the fruit. They still had a fly larva in the fruit.
