I know that someone once wrote that they used it as an eye wash and I hope they can help you there. I thought I would just mention that at the end of each eye lash is a gland which should be cleaned frequently during eye infections. I also have found that putting a drop of CS into the ear will help eye infections too. I find that my children always start with the ear and then the infection spreads.
Maybe I should mention that my son, who was 3 at the time, was scheduled to have tubes put in his ears because abx wouldn't clear them up. They were so swollen that he was learning to read lips. His ear drum wasn't vibrating and he couldn't hear very well. I decided to put drops of CS into his ear... what could it hurt??? Well it cleared it up in 2 days and now when ever he has an ear ache I put 1 drop in a day and he has never had this problem again. Can you imagine... I almost let the MDs cut a hole in his ear drum! He could never have learned to swim without plugs in his ears or shower. I will be forever thankful for this list.
