Group, For those of you looking for answers to scoliosis. The obvious starting place is a damn good chiropractor. Preferably one with training in Applied Kinesiology and NAET and nutrition for starters. The next step beyond that takes a great deal of personal effort on the part of the person with the condition. This is where the rub usually comes in. When a cure requieres discipline and committment, you do not get to many as our culture wants quick fixes, a pill or surgery. One of the best things that can help scoliosis is the novel physical disciplines. SPring Forest Qigong would be a great start. In one exercies, and I have personally done this exercies, you can lengthen one finger when comparing it to its match on the other hand then in the same exercise you can shrink it back again, you can do it with either finger. It is the damndest thing you will ever see as it is a major observable lengthening. The exercise is to show you the degree of the control you have over your own body. The course for the Spring Forest Qigong I think can be gotten from http://www.ToolsForWellness.com That is a very good base for dealing with this condition. It gives the fast results that people want, but it still requires regular practice for optimum results. Qigong combined with accupuncture over a period of months if done intensely shoul make scoliosis reversed to where it is not noticible. I have a mild form of it, and only know because I was told on an exam I seem to have it. Probably all disorders stem in time from these irregularities of spinal structure.
There is something else about scoliosis I will put up as soon as I find it, something about allergies and toxins contributing to the torsion of the muscle imbalance that pulls the spine out of allignment. I have read that some clinical hypnotists have great success with this problem and something is niggling at me about Edgar Cayce on this. I am not home right now with my huge library to refer to. I only brough about 10 boxes of what I felt were my most critical ermegency oreinted books and tapes and I am not sure if I have the info I am thinking of on Scoliosis with me. But start with the qigong. It is a powerful form of healing. Barb -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
